How exactly does the collaboration work?

The process is transparent and customer-oriented. It begins with contact via email or our contact form. We clarify the core details: What should be engraved? Which material is desired? Is there a specific deadline? Once this basis is established, we create a quote. After your acceptance and the required deposit, we begin the digital preparation.

A crucial part of our work is communication. We send you the draft digitally. The laser only starts once you have explicitly given "approval." This prevents errors and ensures the result looks exactly as you imagined. The execution is efficient, yet we always prioritize artisanal care over pure speed.

What should you prepare as a customer?

To speed up the process, it is helpful if you provide some initial information. If you wish to use your own logo or a specific font, please send these to us as vector graphics (e.g., in .svg, .ai, or .pdf format). This guarantees the highest sharpness of the engraving.

If you do not have ready-made files, that is not a problem. A simple description, a photo of handwriting, or a sketch is often sufficient. In such cases, we handle the Layout Design for you. What do you receive at the end of the order?

You receive a physical product that has undergone permanent refinement through laser processing. Depending on the material, the engraving is either darkly burned (wood), precisely removed (lacquered metals), or color-contrasted (leather). All products are carefully cleaned before handover so that no soot marks or processing residues remain.

Additionally, upon payment of the total amount, you receive the final digital vector design of your project. This is particularly valuable for corporate clients who may wish to reuse the design for other applications (e.g., print media). Timeframes and Lead Times

The average lead time for personalized gifts is 5 to 7 working days. This period covers the time from the final design approval to completion. Please note that while the actual production time is short, the design coordination phase may vary.

For urgent occasions, we offer an express option. If completion is required within 48 hours, a priority surcharge is applied, provided our capacity allows. However, we recommend a lead time of at least two to three weeks, especially for corporate gifts during the pre-Christmas period or before major events.

What is NOT included in our service?

To ensure the highest quality, there are clear boundaries to our activities. We do not perform engravings on materials that release hazardous gases, such as PVC or certain chlorinated plastics. The safety of our employees and the environment is our top priority.

Furthermore, we do not engrave protected brand logos or copyrighted works without documented permission from the rights holder. We assume no liability for the material properties of customer-supplied objects if they react unexpectedly during the thermal process. Similarly, postal delivery is not included in the standard price; pickup primarily takes place at our Vienna workshop.

Pricing and Value Added Tax

Our prices are composed of the material value, the time for digital preparation, and the actual laser time. We work with transparent flat rates for standard gifts as well as individual prices for premium sets. The prices indicated in our tables include the statutory VAT of 20%.

For our business customers (B2B), we list prices net, as the input tax is generally deductible. Billing is based on actual effort.
